Claudia Krogmeier is an artist whose practice spans experimental and narrative film, installation, interactive digital media and scientific research. She explores dream-like realities that can arise in our minds in relation to our desires and life experiences by creating work that feels emotionally truthful, yet uncanny and mysterious. She likes challenging dominant forms of narrative which are linear and transparent to invite viewers to draw their own conclusions about the meaning of the work. Her work has been exhibited in multiple public spaces including the Indianapolis International airport. She has screened at film festivals such as Straight 8 (London), Indy Shorts International (Indianapolis), and Windy City (Chicago), and presented at conferences such as SIGGRAPH (art and computer graphics), ISMAR (extended reality) and Society for Cognitive Studies of the Moving Image.
